Bankwest has long offered a solid set of digital banking channels, incorporating a diverse range of functionality coupled with a simple but functional design that dare we say would meet the needs of most digital banking customers.
However recent weeks have seen what might otherwise be viewed as a flurry of activity from the bank. With an iOS mobile app update less than a month ago that included a completely overhauled alerts and notifications system on par with the top echelon of providers of those services in the Australian market, and further afield.
More recently, in fact just in the last week or so, Bankwest have also introduced a newly designed menu to its desktop digital banking channel. The menu does not appear to have brought with it new functionality, though we will certainly be taking a closer at this during our next Cumulus audit.
A subtle change - could it be heralding bigger things to come from Commonwealth Bank subsidiary? We will keep our eyes peeled. In the meantime, check out the screenshots below (starting with the old design) to see more on this change.
